Some owners of 2002-2005 Sedona vehicles produced from 5/1/2001-8/31/2005 may complain of front suspension noise over rough road surfaces at speeds between 18-31 MPH. To reduce the noise Kia has redesigned the strut mount with a modified rubber composition to improve the overall sound dampening in the affected speed range. However, all other suspension components should be checked for performance prior to installing these replacement strut mounts. Concerns with worn out ... Read More
Hi Guys & Girls, It's me I'm back. I see that KIA and Hundai are still stonewalling it. Like you Julieer1 I love my Sedona. You ABSOLUTELY made the right choice. I wish I had purchased an Odyssey instead of my Kia. We traded in a 96 Honda Civic when we bought our 07 Sedona. I KNOW someone will still be driving our Honda after our Kia dies. ;)
UPDATE from us! After test driving a few Sedonas and researching and speaking with friends etc, we decided on an Odyssey. We bought a gently used '05 Odyssey at our local CarMax over a year ago. Hi, I have 2007 Kia Sedona LX without any foglights. I moved to Europe and took it with me and now I need to add rear fog light (this is required in E.U.). Is the car pre-wired for it? Is it something a dealer has to do or can I do it myself? Thanks Jirka

Standepuy...I checked a dealer in Pa. he said he asked he general manager about this car and they had no idea. Told him to check the KIA motors website and the Carnival is there. He called me back and said they don't have any idea about it and check and said they dont have anything like that on order for 2007. He said maybe it will be out in 2008. My ... Read More
I check out the "detailing" area of the Kia Dealer before checking with the salesmen since they never know anything about new models. Sure enough there was a white one. It just said 2007 Sedona Base (no 2 letter designation) for $20,495 + $300 for roof rack/carpets and $700 for inland freight. It seemed to have most of the features of the bigger LX. BUT it had the 3.8 engine (18/25 ... Read More
I've been searching and lurking at various minivan sites for last year or so and thought I was ready to jump into a 2007 Odyssey LX. Liked the firm, sporty Ody ride better than Sienna. After reading some positive reviews, decided to take a look at Kia Sedona before pulling trigger on an Ody. Found the Kia to be very close in performance to the Ody (= power and safety features ... Kia will introduce a new short wheelbase version of the Kia Sedona at the New England International Auto Show in November, 2006, and although details and prices have not been released as of this writing, the Dodge Caravan may well lose its claim to the lowest priced minivan in America to the short wheelbase 2007 Kia Sedona. Your deal on the Sedona sounds good to me. I just paid $26,000 yesterday. I tried to get it for less (I have been to 6 dealerships), but since I didn't have a minivan prior to my purchase, I didn't qualify for the extra $1000 off. I had never heard of that type of rebate before! I decided to go with this dealer because he spent a full week locating the ... Read More
I am new to this board and I wanted to share with you some of the quotes I have gotten for a Kia Sedona EX, plus Power package and Luxury package: Invoice: $28,422 _ Dealer discount: 700$ Plus rebates: 1,500 and I own a minivan so that would be 1000$ less Total Price: 25,322 I have 3 dealers competing for my business. I had narrowed it down to 2 but a ... Read More
New to boards...I am ready to purchase the 2006 Sedona EX Luxery model. I test drove it and was impressed. My question is, does anyone know if Kia is coming out with their 2007 models. If so, I might be able to wait until the dealer in town does their "left over inventory" sales. That is how I picked up my Sephia 9 years ago. I saved $5k by waiting a ... Read More
Any news on the SWB version of the Sedona. It was suppose to be available in the spring 06, so where is it??? http://www.kia.co.uk/sedonahome.asp UK version is now being advertised, where is the NA version?? Thanks
Buy the Kia now, LX or EX, both are excellent values. Watch the ads in big city papers. Offer your local dealer a low price equal to or a little higher than the lowest prices in the big cities. If you only want to spend $10-15,000, look for a well maintained 2005 or 2004 Sedona with low miles and plenty of warranty left. You can buy them cheaply because lots of ... Read More

Is it just me, or does anybody else hate the "he/she" dialogue and content of this interview team? They did raise some good points, but lets be honest, paying MSRP on a Hyundai/Kia is like paying MSRP on a DCX/Ford/GM minivan. You shouldn't.. Kia already offers a combined 3K rebate on the 06 Sedona (2K competition bonus, 1K rebate if you finance through Kia at 3.9%). I am sure folks will ... Read More
Well, my wife and I are selling our Civic tomorrow and with our other cash we still plan on buying a minivan with $15,000 or so. I'm starting to eliminate the idea of the MPV Mazda. There's no dealer in my town and only two garages that will work on them. One of them said, since the MPV won't be made in 2007, the parts will start to become scarce. I ... Read More
No one will admit they were duped into buying an "SUV" that is just a slightly warmed over inferior minivan that GM had a hard time peddling as a minivan. I own a GM product (Chevy Blazer) that is inferior to its Ford counterpart (Explorer). GM pickups are not as good as Ford and neither GM nor Ford make a minivan that is competitive with the Grand Caravan/Town & Country, Odyssey, ... Read More
The MPV club would love to have a dedicated member such as yorself Hans. I just read that Hyundai is coming out with a minivan they will call the Entourage. It will be a cousin to the Kia Sedona. Will arrive in 2006 as a 2007 model. Will come loaded with saftey features standard...airbags everywhere. Will have the 3.8 V6 engine. So, should be interesting.
If so and if it has separately controlled temperature for driver and front passenger + an overhead console with temperature/compass and trip computer AND is reasonably priced, I would consider buying an MPV instead of just the Odyssey, Grand Caravan, or NEW 2006 KIA Sedona. ;)
Yeah - and it's the only thing I DETEST on the new Ody. Honda has always had the 'take a chainsaw to cut a slot in the body look'. Toyota finallyn removed this ugly slot, when they redesigned the Sienna in 2003. Chrysler was the first to get this right on the 1996 minivan redesign. Ford follow suit back in 1999, getting rid of the body slot on the second ... Read More
