    the Rondo is a tall station wagon and this is what it is to KIA as the #52 in 6th and 7th place on the VIN number means "5 door station wagon 2WD", but I like what they call both these vehicles in Europe - MPV's (multi-purpose vehicles)

    Sorry I hurt your feelings, but I did not post anything other than facts to add to the numbers posted earlier :) Last time I checked 26.8% was still greater than 3% Now, that the FWD Rondo is a little SUV-let, I'm not so sure how factual that is .     But... According to Conwelpic's figures, which he has been posting for many months (thank you), Kia still sells more Rondos than Mazda sells 5's. So Mazda's increase, though strong percentage-wise, is simply an increase from just a handful of sales to 42% better than a handful of sales.     After getting caught out by the cars' slow response when trying to accelerate away from junctions into gaps in the traffic, I did start using the sequential shift... rather liked it too. I think I might have used it that way most of the time if I'd not had such a tiring distance to cover. (And if I was used to changing gear with my right hand!)

    you will be pleased to know that in the new 2008 Fuel Consumption Guide put out by Natural Resources Canada, that the Energuide Award Winner for the Minivan vehicle class is the Mazda 5. - congratulations! According to the guide the Rondo is classified as a station wagon (KIA states it this way too in their VIN code numbers).

    all my accessories are dealer installed, none of them come from KIA directly that way. My model has the fog lamps as standard. They are wired in with low beams only and disconnect if you switch on your highs.     I still think the Rondo is small, though. The Mazda5 being even smaller doesn't change that opinion. Any how, it is nice that Kia offers small (Rondo), medium (SWB Sedona), and large (LWB Sedona). Then again, my reference point is a Sienna. There's nearly 100 cubic feet behind the 2nd row, which means 5 people plus tons of stuff.

    looks like they were listening to you as the 2008 model now has an auxiliary jack in the console. We always want better mileage regardless of the vehicle, but with your reference to the CR-V, there is very little difference.     Dnatoday, contrary to Coolmazda5's list of facts/opinions, the 2007 Rondo doesn't have an Aux input, but there are rumblings that the 2008 Rondo will have one. At least one review mentioned it, at Jalopnik (look in part 2--a very oddball kind of review, so check it out, everyone). Plus, someone in this thread at another forum stated that a salesman mentioned it.
