2013 Kia Optima EX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 6A)

Review

the best gas mileage I get is 18 city and 27 on a trip.
the company and the dealer (courtesy kia
Altoona pa) will do nothing.
I would never buy another kia.

Can anyone who is getting below average gas mileage try turning off the traction control. The traction control on the Optima is very sensitive. KIA is aware that the traction control is very sensitive. On some Optimas the traction control might be causing the poor gas mileage.

Very true about the traction control. Hurts mileage and governs the throttle too. Also, definitely pays to upgrade your gas- My 2013 Optima with 87 octane: 21 city/32 highway With 92 octane: 24 city/36 highway....and MUCH nicer performance.
