I've had my Forte since Sept of '12 and thus far I have to say my major gripes are the crappier than expected fuel mileage... a tire that buldged out on me that they wouldn't cover under the warranty "because I must have hit something to make it break", and the leather on the steering wheel is so soft that if you happen to get out of your car with your keys in your hand, it tends to scrape the leather on the wheel as you grab it to get out and tear it... so within the first month of having it, they had to totally replace my steering wheel.
Ride gets a tad stiff after a couple hours of driving for a long ways but awesome style and love the features
styling is awesome
love the wheels on the SX, really make it pop!
LOADS of options
Bluetooth is cool with my Iphone
Very peppy engine in the 2.4L
fun to drive
controls are easy to use and located in a very functional way
-Gas mileage was def WAY lower than I had expected... even in Eco mode-
I average 28mpg (so the computer says) though when calculating it based on miles/gallons put in the tank it's more like 26... though as it's getting more miles that has gotten better.
-Too small of a gas tank... it seems like I have to stop every 2 or 3 days to put more fuel in this thing.
My 2006 Malibu took a week or more before I had to fill that back up.
-Warranty needs to cover things that are defective from bumper to bumper... including tires- I don't get a choice as to what kind of tires I get with the car, so if they suck and break 4 months after I have the car, you should willingly fix the tire under warranty.
