Ok, so I've only had my Amanti a month, but I took another one overnight to drive and fell in love with its style and its handling. The doors shut solidly, the handling is unbelievable; rides smooth. I love the leather and dash. It's got 8 speakers, and the arm rest in the backseat has a compartment with drink holders built in. I get so many thumbs up from admirers. I think Hyundi taking over Kia was the best thing to happen to them. The 10 year/100,000 warranty with 5 years/60,000 is the best in the field.
Front grill work, interior, ride, stereo.
Only think I wish it had was a compass on the mirror.
Could be a bit more powerful, but is adequate. Fuel economy is less than expected, have seen better on more powerful 6's and 8's. That said, still an excellent value, a good car, that I expect will be great, with a few improvements.
Looks, build quality, such as heavy outside door handles, fit and finish. Overall look is as good as pricey Euro- cars. Nothing skimpy or cheesy here! The warranty: With a reasonably priced extension to 100,000 miles leaves all others (except Hyundai)playing catch-up ball.
