Ok first off I would like to congratulate Chrysler for finally fixing the Wrangler...and ridding the world of that POS 3.8L V6 it had previously....Although I really wish the 6Speed in this thing didn't sound like it was on its last limb with only 22 miles on the odometer.....Other than that a very pleasant and comfortable ride on or off road.
The 3.6L Pentastar V6 making this the fastest wrangler to ever grace the streets of The USA. Incredible Off road ability, That classic Jeep Look
The Transmission....Why the hell does the 6 speed grind like its being rubbed very hard against a saw blade....and why do I have to apply 200lbs of pressure and practically blow out my knee pushing on it to engage it and shift....Apparently this transmission needs to be looked at...or its just the wrangler I drove...IDK...bit also fix this problem with the soft tops on this thing...I must see at least 3 people a week get there stuff stolen because of there soft tops not being puncture or tear resistant
Any car with a convertible top is a potential target for thieves.
Best just never to leave anything of value in it.
A simple alternative to having your soft-top knifed open is just to wind down your windows, or remove the back quarter-panels.
Never had a problem in three years on and around OSU campus.
If you make it clear that you know there's a risk of theft, thieves realize that you don't have anything there to steal, except the vehicle itself.
Petty larceny versus GTA... a bit of a difference.
