    It is a warranty claim. It took them over two months to go this avenue. Unfortunately I had to send a complaint to the BBB and the Attorney General's office. We hope it fixes the problem!

    When we fill up our 2008 Jeep Wrangler with gas the pump shuts off and then gas flows out, ALOT, no matter what we do. When we explained this to the dealer they said it was "an operational characteristic of the Jeep". Also of note, this problem just began after about 18 months of owning it. We bought it new.     I have a 2008 Wrangler rubicon unlimited and have been having the exact same experience. I have had it in the shop 5 times on this and the dealership finally told me that I would have to find another service center tand that they could no longer help me on it! Clearly this is a defect in the product that Jeep has not figured out yet. Good luck!

    I read in the latest Australian Buyers Guide in the 4WD & SUV magazine says "Wrangler was rated the worst car overall", in the US magazine customer reports 2008-Owner Survey. So the facts seem to speak for themselves. Anyway, I have worked out Chrysler Jeep's translation of the words Freedom Top, it means "the freedom for water to pour into your vehicle from any angle".
