I just called my Jeep dealer in Fort Myers, FL. - the man said to bring it in any time & they will fix it on the spot - said it takes a couple hours :):):) I am SO tired of taping both my back windows & it's been almost a year! thank you!

    A 2006 should be covered the same as a 2007 as I understand it. The biggest problem came from the 06-07 models. I'd call another dealership to see what they say if I were you.     I got my window fixed yesterday, and the jeep dealer said it was only under warrant for the next 6 months. That is not what I read on the internet and I think they lie. Mine is a 2006 Jeep Liberty, so I wonder if the warrant is different.

They sent out a letter about 2 years ago to Jepp Liberty 2007 owners stating that the window regulators will be covered for 7 years (up until 2014).     With all due respect, I believe the skyslider did not become available til '08. I had my "09 Libby for a little over two years til I got fed up with the roof. 5 times for leaks all over and numerous calls to Chrysler made me trade it in for an '11 Liberty with a sunroof.

    I had an odd experience with a failed window regulator on my 2006 Liberty CRD last year and found that it pays to talk to more than one dealer. Although I had over 100k miles on my Jeep, I found a dealer who replaced the window regulator completely free of charge. Lucky, I guess!

    05 CRD has been a dream to own, operate, maneuver through L.A. nightmare traffic, and good milage helps too (i get 28ish, wife gets24ish mpg). only prob was a bown intercooler duct line, easy fix. enjoy!!!

    Oil in the EGR is a common problem, installing a Provent will prevent this, not hard to install, part is around $160. It may also prevent oil getting into your turbo as well.     If you have a CAI with the K&N, that can lean out mixture, yes. With just a drop-in K&N, you are doing absolutely nothing to the engine except at WOT, because you have a throttle plate regulating air flow anyway. Rainy weather creates a denser fuel charge, so that effect makes perfect sense.

    If you have a 2005 or 2006 Jeep Liberty with the diesel and five speed automatic, the trans will drain back into the pan. It takes about 15 -25 seconds of idling to refill the trans. There is a TSB about this and if the F37 recall is done it resolves that issue.

    Make sure your serpentine belt is well routed and wraps around half of the alternator pulley. If the belt doesn't pass between the alternator pulley and the pulley located just underneath the alternator then it will squeak. Mine squeaked after Jeep techs had misplaced it

    I had this problem on 2 of my Liberty's. Dealer couldn't find the problem, so after 3 batteries, Chrysler sent out a recall notice that identified a computer problem that would occasionally kill the battery, they uploaded the newer software and it hasn't happened since. Anyone else run into this?
