    Speed-specific vibrations are usually tire and wheel related. If you can drive into, and out of, the vibration zone, it is almost surely that.

    Hello, my 2004 Jeep liberty lights go on and off without a reason. It seems to be happening more often. Sometimes when I turn on my high beams, the inside will light up, and vice versa.     Assuming your brake pads don't stick, clean your brake piston seals. Some seals have a special shape (several lips in a wave pattern) that forces the pistons to retract from their most outwards position, after the brakes are released. If this doesn't work, look at the master cylinder 'home' position: you could have a bad pedal assembly that doesn't release the master cylinder when your foot is off.

    Thanks for the response. I've checked for Chilton & Haynes repair manuals but they are only available through 2004 for he Liberty. I checked out the Jeep Service Manuals and was happy to find the CD version for under $100.00 that I plan to buy soon. I knew the hard copy was about $400.00 and did not want to spend that much.

    This is our 2nd liberty, and we had this problem with our 2004, so when we got a new 2006 I scotch guarded the seats the second I got home and it really did help prevent stains. They still look good 20,000 miles later. :)

    Same Here; I have a 2004. Car is aligned based on 4 different mechanics at 4 different shops. I have no idea but it pulls to the right and no one can fix it b/c car is aligned perfectly. I just tune it out and don't even pay attention to it anymore.
