I'm having the same problem. I have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee lardeo. I have everything working fine other then it won't start and says transmission over temp. Has anyone figured out what it is or has it been fixed? Please feel free to send me a email at clebrn37@aol.com thanks.
My dash lights up with all the waring lights from time to time. I took it to AutoZone and they put a scanner on it and told me my EGR Valve and Senor are bad. I cannot locate the parts for my Jeep and now questioning weather that is the problem. My Jeep runs fine. Hope someone here has and idea.
We have also just got the Electronic Throttle warning light and then the check engine light came on. Just prior to this happening the engine RPM was surging slightly similar to a TPS sensor failure on a gas engine. We bought our 2008.5 Grand Cherokee diesel in April, 2009 and it now has 110,000 kms of highway driving on it. The dealer says the turbo failed and that there is a ... Read More
I'm looking at leasing/buying one but these rates/residuals are just terrible. My 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (43k MSRP) was 15k at $499/30 months and $1500 down (Guess that's why Chrysler Financial is no more). Dealers in NJ want $700+ and more down... Crazy! I may settle for the Infiniti FX35 and miss the remote start/automatic hi-beams and panoramic roof.
I am the 2nd owner -- purchased in 2007 with 37,000 mile. Jeep now has 101.000 mile. Has always run perfectly, except that the transmission is leaking somewhere so I have always had to be careful to make sure the fluid level is right. Last week, the car started having problems shifting gears. It usually starts after driving for about 5-10 miles, the check engine light is on. I called jeep, ... Read More

I am having the same problem with my 2007 jeep grand cherokee aswell. Got the factory remote start and the 4.7L engine. Did you figure out what was causing this? Mine is barely starting and when it does, it just sputters and sounds rough. But will eventually start when I give it gas.
I am also wondering? I have a 2007 GC coming off lease 8/15. Spoke to one dealer the other day and he told me they were still waiting on numbers. I wouldnt count on any huge incentives on a newly released vehicle... Would be nice though if Jeep took care of it's repeat customers.
I just bought a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has a factory remote car starter. I am having a problem when I attempt to start the vehicle. Ok thanks, i'll work them on that. What do you think of the deal as a whole?
The only one I would have a problem with is the used car prep fee ($679). Just another chance for them to gouge a few hundred extra out of the consumer. Try to get them down on this one. As for the other fees....they are pretty standard...$149 filing fee sounds like a dealer processing fee....usually on most car deals. Good Luck!
Black Base model /cloth w/chrome side trim, 18k miles, great condition, add roof racks $16995 +1525 NY metro taxes +$679 used car prep fee $75 processing fee (plates) $149 filing fee $37 inspection fee $19460 OTD I am happy with the price of the car. It's the fees that i am concerned with. Are the fees excessive and which ones should i ask to be stricken from the price? Thanks
Thanks for your update. I have the 2007 2X4 Limited and the mileage is 18/22 with something like 8,000 miles on the odometer.
