    if it stalls after 2 to 3 sec after start its the alarm smart key try reseting remove 1 screw from bottom of colom and you will see a black box that reads the key un plug it and turn the key on the acc then dissconect neg batt what 5 min put colom back together conect batt and you should be all set

    with that many codes has to be wire or connector i have a jeep shop manual and dosent show any of those codes for a 2001 jeep those codes for 2005 liberty which has different trans check wire harness that comes from trans

    I had the same problem on my Ford PU, and it turned out the flexible brake lines on both sides had swollen on the inside, restricting the return of the brake bluid to the master cylinder. If your brake components are clean of rust so that they can move freely, then it is probably those lines or the brake cylinders themselves.

    A damaged torque converter shouldn't affect reverse but the whole tranny. I would think If the torque converter was damaged that it wouldn't move. On my jeep there is something I think is a sensor, i'll look, it's on the bellhousing.     Sounds like your temperature sensor. Just had mine replaced for $ 158.00. They are easy to put in if you know anybody that can do it. You can buy the part at autozone. Good LUck

    If you pay somebody to rebuild your engine or install a used engine, make sure you get a 90 day warranty on the compression test. V8 is cool.
