I have replaced all of the anxillary
parts, e.g. battery, alternator, power
steering pump, water pump (2x),...
My biggest complaint is that the A/C
gets clogged with leaves. I had
to "gut" the dash to replace the
evaporator. I did it myself only
because I was a student at the time and
couldn't afford to pay $1,000 in labor
to install a $100 part. It taxed my
shade-tree mechanic capabilities,
This is my 3rd Jeep. I've loved them
all. I drive the heck out of my cars
(200,000 miles +) but I maintain them
well. I love the 4.0 L straight six.
It's bulletproof and easy, generally,
to work on.
The above-referenced A/C problem.
Brakes are not particularly strong on
any of the Jeeps I've owned.
