I OWN A 2006 JEEP COMMANDER.IT HASALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH ONLY 7768 MILES IT HAS HAD PROBLEMS SINCE NEW WITH ONLY 28 MILES ON IT. I'M WRITING THIS TO WARN ANY RPOSPECTIVE BUYERS OF THE COMMANDER.IT IS GOING TO BE DISCONTIUED WITH THE 2009 MODELYEAR BEING THE LAT.LET THEM GO AWAY PLEASE.DONT BUY ANYMORE JUNK FROM CHRYSLER UNLESS IT IS PRE 1974 Read More...

I read awhile ago that Jeep has already announced that they do not plan to manufacture the Commander after 2009. This seems to me that they realize that there is a problem with this vehicle and they have decided to pull it off their product line instead of trying to fix the problems they know they have. dds: I was very excited about the Commander when I heard reports of it being released. What dissapointed me was that it has three rows, but it's only slightly bigger than the Grand Cherokee.
