Vehicle2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 9A)
ReviewWe purchased a Limited V6 with the Tow Package, Technology Group, & the Luxury Group.
My wife and I love this vehicle.
It is very comfortable and has plenty of power.
The 9-speed transmission is smooth.
The ventilated seats are slightly more comfortable than the standard seats - they feel a little like the Grand Cherokee's seats. The vehicle is quiet & well built. The technology group works well. We were concerned about storage space, but there is way more than you think, especially when you put the seats down. Front and rear leg and head room are very generous.
On the highway it averages 28.5 mpg, but on some long trips we have averaged 32 mpg (Florida to Chicago and back), & in mixed driving it averages 20 to 22 mpg. We have had a number of recalls, but that is expected on a first year production. We have also had a few issues with the navigation system, but the dealer replaced the unit and everything is fine now. My big issue is that the cup holders are too tight, not so good for Styrofoam cups. Other than that, I highly recommend this vehicle, it is well thought out, reliable, and fun to drive.
