Re: 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Stall Problem [2survive]
The crankshaft position sensor is a fail item. It's a challenge to get at, but can be done as long as you have an extended tool set. When that gadget isn't working right, the engine barely runs. Read More...

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Stall Problem
I can't believe how many people have written in about the stalling problem with their Jeeps. Wish I had thought to find this site about a year ago - before we replaced several parts - due to the mechanic "not seeing the problem" while it was happening. I told my husband what I had found out about people replacing the crank shaft sensor - and he called the place who had ... Read More...

Its not running rich/lean ... Read More...

1991-1997 Parts Compatibility Cherokee Laredo/Sport 2WD
I need to know parts that are compatible between these Jeeps. I just bought a 1991 Cherokee Laredo 4x4 needing a steering column. A friend has a 96 Cherokee sport 2WD that he has given to me for parts, but i don't know what i can use.
