I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I have read several posts about the death wobble. The crankshaft position sensor is a fail item. It's a challenge to get at, but can be done as long as you have an extended tool set. When that gadget isn't working right, the engine barely runs.
i would try the crank sencor as the magnets that control the crank sencor are perminat and the only whay that they can getoff is to have the crank brake or bolts to fly wheel come loose (if thwat happened you would hear a hole bunch of noise ubder your jeep)
I can't believe how many people have written in about the stalling problem with their Jeeps.
