Where is the liftgate sensor locatedon a 1993 Cherokee? I also need to know where the body control module warning buzzer is, because it wont stop and its driving me crazy! The liftgate sensor says the liftgate is not latched even when it is, so i need to either repair the door sensor or rip out the alarn buzzer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Read More...

I replaced the u-joint on the right front wheel of my 1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Prior to this there had been no leaking of the oil seal. Now the oil pours out of the axle tube by the fron wheel from the front differential. How do I replace the seal? Can you describe the procedure? Do I need speical tools? Read More...

I picked up my 93 Grand Cherokee just over a month ago and it has been a nightmare. The computer works against everything I do. The Jeep was overheating, so I put in a new radiator, hoses, heater hoses and both engine coolant temperature sensors. I also put in a new cooler (160 degree) thermostat. Being a smart ass! sorry--I am trying to replace the 4.0 in line jeep engine on my son jeep-Got the old one fine, and got the new/junk yard replacement in place however the engine mounts will not line up? Took the Jeep to my mechanic, ends up being an intermittent faulty Fuel Pump, started 3 out of 5 times, after doing an entire tune-up. The Fuel Pump is in the Fuel Tank, typical lol :-), the fuel pump costs $ 374.00 (module actually), Oh well, it's running great now Read More...

I had a bad vibration at 60mph. I took the front driveshaft off and it smoothed out like butter. Found a damaged driveshaft knucle and slightly hampered slide on the driveshaft. 1993 Grand Cherokee automatic, so this problem has been around for awhile on Jeeps.
