2007 Jaguar XK-Series Road Test Ratings

A beautiful car, the XK appears to be the stuff that dreams are made of, but some quality issues prevent it from fulfilling its destiny.

The XK is a decent handling large coupe or roadster. The R version adds considerably more performance over the standard car which has only average performance.

Luxurious interior design and materials combine with excellent ride/handling compromise. R version is firmer and slightly less comfortable. The XK is a large car with small cargo space. Passenger and driver space is adequate.

Some controls not up to class standard. Quick top operation on convertible. Limited trunk space on convertible when top is stowed.

Gorgeous exterior styling. We noticed some panel fitment irregularities, which is unacceptable in any class -- especially this one.
