Review

I bought my ’99 XK8 used with about 30,000 miles on it and have been happy with it. While not in the same category of vehicle, my decision came down to a BMW540 or the XK8.

Favorite Features

The XK8 is the sexiest car on the street, handles nice and drives smooth. But, it's no BMW. The Jag handles like the grand touring, luxury convertible that it is. The interior and exterior styling are beautiful. For the money (second hand),there isn't a better luxury convertible.

Suggested Improvements

I have had issues with the rear lights and have no patients for such basic problems in a luxury vehicle. The car is heavy and acceleration could be better. The lag time between the time you press your foot on the accelerator and the car actually reacting is disappointingly slow.
