I am very interested in finding out about the probelms you have experienced with your XK. I have been experiencing electrical probelms with my 2007 xk since I purchased it in Nove 2007. I have had battery issues, and display issues. It seem that my display ( audio, nav, phone, climate, etc gos completely black or only displays the jag logo - and nothing else will work. This has happened over ... Read More

I own a 2007 XK Convertible that has been nothing but trouble. The car fails to start at least twice a month. In the first 10,000 miles I have had 2 battery replacements. I have been afraid to drive it a long distance from my house and really havent gotten much use out of it. The Jaguar service department where I bought the car cannot find the problem. When I complained ... Read More

I work at a Jaguar dealership and I am also the proud owner of a 2007 XK convertible. We have sold approximately two dozen of these beauties and I have seen all of the issues that have come into our service department. Most of the issues have been misunderstandings in how the vehicle operates. I will say it has been a learning experience on my end to know all of the ... Read More

Hi: I want to lease a Jaguar XK Convertible. I would like to get an idea of what the current residual rate is and the money factor rate is from Jaguar? I have spoken with the two dealers in my area regarding this and one dealer tells me 53% and the other 60%, what should I believe? I know the car just came out, and leases may not be that good, ... Like you I also considered the XK when going for a convertible last December but unlike you I purchased the 650. I tried both and the Jag did not compare with the agility and handling of the 650. Although the 2007 650 MSRP is over $80K (not $74 as you said) with some of the few options (many features are standard) my car came up to over $85K, and it is ... Read More

I bought the Jaguar XK coupe about a month ago, but previously considered the BMW and drove it on several occasions (including in the city and on the freeway). I think there is no comparison. The Jag is stunningly beautiful and turns heads like no other car I have seen (recently, I drove past a Ferrari, Porsche and Bentley that were parked in front of a hot local restaurant--everyone pointed and ...
