2008 Jaguar XJ Super 8 depreciation chart

Re: 2008 Jaguar XJ Super 8 depreciation chart [Pavarotti]

If you were looking at the 95K model it was probably the portfolio model. You can find 06 and 07's for well under 40K and with minimal mileage. The difference between the portfolio and regular models is minimal and the extra cost is questionable. Differences include rear hvac controls able to adjust temperature, rear dvd system. Rear shades, a richer leather ... Read More...

Re: 2008 Jaguar XJ Super 8 depreciation chart [Pavarotti]

What's the warranty on the drive train for a new Jag? I bought a super clean 2000 XJ8 for $9,000 last July with 64,000 miles on it. I figure another ten thousand bucks put into it in the next four years, will give me a new rebuilt trans, new timing chains, at least one computer module, tires, and shocks, and maybe a gear box if it gets sloppy, and maybe new plugs. In 2000 ... Read More...

2008 Jaguar XJ Super 8 depreciation chart

I really love the restyled front end (smaller lower fender vent+running lights) of the 2008 XJ. But at $95000, I want to buy it when the depreciation has flattened out. Can someone advise/tabulate what the depreciation chart for this car would look like? I am guessing it'll be $40000 in 2011. Thanks! Read More...

Dear Car_man: Could you please help me with the lease details on a Jaguar XF for a 36 month 12,000 mi lease? Also the dealership has a new 2008 XJ8 - the salesman says that they cannot lease a 2008 vehicle. Is that true or is he blowing smoke? Thanks Read More...

Jaguar XJ-Series

Re: While comparing reviews of [marsha7]

Have you looked at a 2004 and up? They lengthened the wheelbase and raised the ceiling a bit, so you have more rear seat room. The L version has reclining rear seats, so you don't actually get the full wheelbase stretch for that model in additional leg room. The 2005 Jag has one of the best reliability/build quality ratings in its class. Jaguar, not Ford, provides ... Read More...

While comparing reviews of

a 2006 XJ8 and XJ8L to my friend's 2002 XJ8, a few questions came to mind... 1. the reviewers consider the 2006 XJ8 roomy, both front and back seats...did they lengthen the new design so that the 2006 XJ8 has the same rear seat room as the 2002 XJ8L???...(which would make the newer 2006 XJ8L even longer still???)... 2. HID headlights are standard on 2006, along with ... Read More...
