If you like jags

Vehicle: 2005 Jaguar XJ-Series Super V8 4dr Sedan (4.2L 8cyl S/C 6A)

Folks I am 6'2 220lbs, if you have my dimensions don't buy - you will always be uncomfortable in the bucket seats. The car has a very attractive exterior, and the engine will blow anything away in its class, but lets face it folks this is a super ford, and everyone knows it. Remember folks if you drive, and spend time in the car, prepare to hire a massage therapist for your back and thighs. I can't wait to sell the damn car. Just my thoughts.

Dream coach

Vehicle: 2005 Jaguar XJ-Series Super V8 4dr Sedan (4.2L 8cyl S/C 6A)

Well, it's been a couple of months since I picked up this 'motor coach' -- that's right, it is not just a car, but a true 'motor coach'. Power, speed, quick feet and sure footing! I had a 2002 Mercedes S500, Sport Sedan - - no comparison! That was a mere car! This is something more! The heads turn and they stare when this motor coach is in their presence. This model is not for the shy and certainly not for the small ego! You have to have driving passion and pride to get in and out this joy!

I have had Mercedes CLs for the past 10 years. My last one, a 2002 CL600, was in the shop more than in my garage. I decided to try the JAG. Being a retired pilot I wanted performance over comfort so I opted for the Super V8. WOW!!! What a car. Great performance along with an amazing ride. No mechanicals up to this point. Highly recommend.

Great car

Vehicle: 2005 Jaguar XJ-Series Super V8 4dr Sedan (4.2L 8cyl S/C 6A)

Use this car as both a weekend car and my driver takes me to work in it during the week. Great features, lovely woodwork. SUPER FAST SuperV8! SATNav EASY TO USE! Comftorable Ride! After owning XKR's I know Jags to be well built machines. I have no doubt my SuperV8 will be!

Super v8

Vehicle: 2005 Jaguar XJ-Series Super V8 4dr Sedan (4.2L 8cyl S/C 6A)

Wow!!! This beauty pulls like a loco. Glides along like silk knickers on a highly polished bonnet.Comfy seats unlike the old model, feels like a Merc, with great handling and much improved suspension. The Sat Nav is the best I've used, just tap in the post code and away you go, and it stays with you if you alter your course, unlike others which demand you to 'U' turn. Lovin'it so far after 500 miles, and I've still got my driving licence! Luck I guess!! My only concern is the build quality, the bodywork feels a bit flimsy...a bit like a coke can..well it is made of aluminium! great for performance, but how would hold up in a smash?
