2003 Jaguar XJ-Series XJR XJR 4dr Sedan (4.0L 8cyl S/C 5A)

Review

Handles great. Is fast and fun to drive. Looks like no other car on the road except another Jaguar.

Best Features

I love the way the car handles corners. It's great to have a cassette deck and a CD player.

Worst Features

Add amp and oil pressure gauges.

2003 Jaguar XJ-Series XJR XJR 4dr Sedan (4.0L 8cyl S/C 5A)

Review

I purchsed the car new in 2004 with 42 miles on it. No problems to speak of, the dealer did replace brake pads and rotors under warranty at 11,902 miles. one of the most comfortable cars for driver and passager, back seats are cramped, but a small price to pay fo rthis car. Have gotten use to the navigation and really like it now. After owning a Jaguar, it's hard to consider driving anything else. Such a high build quality, high grade materials that you jsut don't see in other cars.

Best Features

Love the engine and drive of the car. With the R1 Performance Package it holds the road as sure footed as a jaguar should be. Not only quite with little wind or tire noise, but smooth ride as well.

Worst Features

Power window switches on 03 models only auto power down, not up. Design in 2004 models much better.

Review

Very happy with the car. Can run with
my Boxster S from 0-60 while giving
you a plush ride. Drove both the 2004
and my 2003 and decided on the 03
because it has the classic XJ looks.
The 04 is a nice car, but it looks
more like a Ford than a Jaguar!

Best Features

395 horses, stereo, seats, interior wood and leather.

Worst Features

Easier to use Nav. Air conditioned seats.

My jaguar is the best car ever, it is
superb especiall in design - no wonder
Jaguar's motto is ART OF PERFORMANCE!

Best Features

the exterior design, and the interior comfort, fun to drive.

Worst Features

a bit more sophisticated at the interior, other than that - the car is perfect all round

2003 Jaguar XJ-Series XJR XJR 4dr Sedan (4.0L 8cyl S/C 5A)

Review

My second XJR, and worth checking out.
The supercharger helps the V8 get up to
60mph in a little over 5sec., not bad
for a 4000lb car. Styling has been
around for a few years, but still a
head-turner and unique from the 4-wheel
box cars out there now. Only option
available is Brembo brakes
(recommended), everthing else is
standard (incl. DVD navigation system
and CD player). The cheapest limited
production, luxury, high performance
vehicle you can buy.

Best Features

Supercharged V8 keeps traffic behind you. Alpine navigation system gets you there (sounds like Gillian Anderson).

Worst Features

Long-lasting tires (typical of Y-rated Z radials).
