Let's not forget the original asking
price of this piece of art....and now
let's be quite happy that a very
nice '98 VDP (with less than 40k miles
on the ticker) can be had for about
20k. Absolutely stunning. Smooth
running. Took it on a 650 mile trip--
unbelievable ride. Driven Mercedes (E
series) and they are not even in the
same ball park as far as comfort
level. Enough power to get you in
The stereo, heated seats (very good),
and the soft leather. The fact that
most people that buy a VDP take VERY
good care of them.
A compass would be nice....have to
agree with that. Otherwise, the '04
model has probably addressed any other
concerns for further creature comforts.
