  Just bought a mint Jaguar X Type 3.0 with only 17K miles on it for only 12,400 and unfortunately experienced a thumping low frequency vibration which resonates through the whole car (but not the steering wheel) at exactly 70mph and above - the Dealer, not a Jaguar Dealer (but sells them often), has had the car for ten days now without a fix.   I was just up on the Jaguar site and they're offering 1.9% financing on all, in stock, 2006 X-Types! They must have a few in the inventory they need to push before new models start arriving. Also, while I was at the local dealership last Friday, they are saying (like it has been posted on this site before) that 2008 will be the last year for the X-Type.
