2003 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 4dr AWD Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 5M)

Review

I have owned 4 Infiniti G20t prior to this 2003 Jaguar X-type. I have owned many other automobiles also and this is by far the best. I am a Jaguar owner for life. The car is awesome, handles really well, grips the road as if it had claws. So comfortable and quiet, love the purr of the engine as it takes off with no hesitation. Beautiful interior and exterior. You can`t help but to turn around and give it another glance while walking away. I love my Jaguar!

Best Features

Navigation is the best! Chrome mirrors and wheels set this car off.

Worst Features

Larger back seat.

2003 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 4dr AWD Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 5M)

Review

The ride is excellent for a small vehicle. The all wheel drive and size makes it a luxury compact. Easy to park, drive... All service for the vehicle is included. Everytime the car is serviced it is completely detailed at no extra cost. I have wanted a Jaguar since 1975. I have always liked their looks. The Jaguar is 3 years old and I still get compliments on it. If you are looking for a respected people car buy a Jaguar. If you like harsh ride and odd controls buy German.

2003 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 4dr AWD Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I just bought a "certifed" Jaguar 2 months ago. The car is fun to drive, responsive and very comfortable. It came very well equipped. If your looking for an X type--buy used. The depreciation is very high on a new X type which is why I went used.

Best Features

I love the rear parking sensors, one touch up and down and of course- the cat on the hood!

Worst Features

2 position memory seats would be nice.

Review

This is not a real Jaguar- Never had a Jag before, and after having all sorts of problems with my Audi A6 (no dealerships on Long Island could figure out what was wrong with the car), I swapped it for the X-type. What a mistake! The instrument gauges work intermittently (YES, sometimes they are just still, reading 0 MPH when on the freeway, etc.), the car SQUEAKS over every bump and dip in the road, the automatic headlights only work when they want to, and the dashboard vents curl up (had these replaced under warranty twice, still curls up! I've given up on these). The rear park sensors don't always work. NOT acceptable for a $36k car. Look elsewhere when shopping in this category.

Best Features

One of the most gorgeous cars on the road!! The car oozes class and style. Everyone stares at it. Interior is great, wood everywhere- on the steering wheel and on the dash. It looks and feels great. The seats are so comfy. The AWD system is a dream in bad weather and the snow! All Jags need them.

Worst Features

The back seat accomodates luggage or your briefcase. This is basically a 2- person car with 4 doors. Putting a person (adult OR child) back there is just plain cruel!! Also, there is NO PICKUP in this car... what is under the hood, a lawnmower engine? Should have gotten the 3.0L.
