2014 Jaguar F-Type 2dr Convertible (3.0L 6cyl S/C 8A)
Review
I test drove the base F-type in Polar white with black leather/suede interior this weekend and it drives well as it looks. The pictures don't do justice for how amazing it looks in person. Even with the base 18" wheels, it's a stunner!!! The build quality is excellent. From the body panels to the well thought-out interior, Jaguar did their homework and produced a car that it is more than worthy of its asking price. The Drive: Amazing!!! Despite some slight turbo lag from the 340 hp supercharge engine, the F-Type pins you back in your seat and provides an exhilarating driving experience without beating you up. The balance in the suspension and steering preciseness is uncanny.
Favorite Features
It you love the exterior, the interior further complements and lets you know you are in a special sports car. The materials are first rate and the ergonomics are right on point for the most part. The Meridian 380 watt sound system is excellent and provides a rich, full sound even with the top down. Easy Bluetooth integration. Pandora sounded great!!! Great head room for a convertible. The awesome seats (the standard ones) provide excellent support and keep you secure and planted during aggressive driving. The LEDs look amazing. The exhaust sound is intoxicating (even in the base F-Type) especially in sport mode when using the paddle shifters. Definitely a must buy!!!
Suggested Improvements
Not to nick-pick but the speedometer should be to the right of the tachometer instead of the other way around. Having to look off center to check my speed is a little annoying. Other than that, this is a great product from Jaguar and should be a pleasing alternative to the offerings from Porsche or BMW.

Despite some slight turbo lag from the 340 hp supercharge engine... Supercharge is not a turbo, and there should be any turbo lag. So, I don't know what you were referring to slight turbo lag.
