I have a 1994 Trooper. I have about 247K on it. I like it a lot better than the older ones... the Chromed ones. The Chromed hulks were low on power and not as well built in my opinion. The '94 doesn't have an AIcCR BAG... thankfully. I hate them. Does the '95 Trooper have currently working A/C... What's the physical condition of the vehicle. $2,200 is not a bad price... ... Hey Faraidun. I've searched for an answer to my Trooper problem everywhere, but found no detailed information other than "employees" for transmission repair companies telling people to have their transmissions repaired for $2000. Here is my problem and steps I've taken, maybe it will help. 1994 trooper 3.2 V-6 Dohc Transmission light comes on after 10 minutes of driving. My name is Tony and this is my family's 2nd Isuzu product. The first was a 1994 Rodeo (stock base 5speed model) in 1995. It took us 15 years to purchase our 2nd Isuzu. We recently purchased a 94' Trooper LS. I purchased it for $1,250 with 4 bad tires and a very loud slapping timing belt and a rusted exhaust. I've owned a few trucks, but out of them all ... Your transmission will only fit the 2.6 engine. The 2.8 has a different bellhousing, and the 3.2 has one that is different from either. There used to be adapters made to fit other engines, but my understanding is they are no longer made. I would stay away from the Isuzu 3.2 V-6. You will need the complete computer system to install one of these including vehicle speed sensors from the transmission. ... Read More

I approved them to go ahead and drop the transmission and go to work. If they totally rebuild it the cost is $1451.00. AAMCO is about the only people I will trust as there is ... Read More

Hi, you have taken good care of the vehicle, and my first guess based on your description would be a fuel problem too!
