Isuzu Rodeo Check Engine Light

No Lights

I have a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo. None of the tail, instrument, back-up or front running lights work. I put a new fuse in the socket labled "Tail, Instruments" Still nothing. I have Brake, head and turn signal lights. There is 12V present on the fuse socket. What else would be common with all these lights? Thanks, Grandpagator Read More...

me and my wife bought a 2001 isuzu rodeo 4 years ago last year i brought to a mech 4 the front bearing to be fixed when on the lift i noticed the rear stabalizer bar on drivers side had completly rotted off.then we inspected the whole frame and the whole frame was junk.still have a year of payments left on this pos.sad because the car only has 85.000miles and the rest of ... Scanner says two front 02 sensors, not registering, replaced all four sensors, get same error code. Checked sensor signal wire reading says 3 volts but should be .09 volt max. Ruled out wiring harness because there is continuity from signal wires to computer. Can anyone help. Read More...

I have a 1996 Honda passport and have noticed that the alternator and or battery is the suspected electrical problems in most Honda Passports and you should loosen the alternator; then make sure the electrical plug is properly and tightly plunged into the alternator. i have a 1996 isuzu rodeo i just put a new battery and alternator in and my car seems to be running off the battery instead of the alternator the batt light and the brake light stay on while running and a/c blower no longer work at all can some one please help me i have checked all fuses and fusesable links they are perfect i have no clue what it could be thanks jay Read More...

hi, my problem is the 96 rodeo i just got is being erratic.when i first crank it up it drives fine but there is a lot of exhaust fumes.once the engine warms up,it doesn't want to accelerate properly and occasionally wants to die.what could be the problem? Read More...

I just went through this problem. I found out that the regulator was bad in the alternator. This was after I had taken the rodeo back to the auto parts store and had it checked. Then I was not satisfied so I took the alternator off and took it to have it check, An both times it show it was charging.The people at the auto store said I may have broke a wire when I took it out. ... I'm considering buying a 1996 Rodeo LS 4WD from a local dealer. According to the ad, it only has 75,196 miles on it (!) but it also comes with a 3 month/4500 mile warranty. It looks great and so many of the other Isuzu Rodeo posts are so positive... The price at the dealer is $3,995, which is right up my alley. All things equal, should I go for it? My rodeo is having problems, it starts and as it is idling it sounds like it is struggling to get fuel or power. I also notice that the battery indication fluctuates when I press on the brake.
