No. It would likely be a dealer item, unless you bought a used set, which would be a bad idea. Here's why: the ISC shocks on the Axiom were a flawed design that combined electronic actuators mounted to specialty shocks and a computer system that inflated the bladder device in the electronic actuator to absorb shock. Following thru the steps, it lists the final step for these multiple DTC codes as "Replace PCM & reprogram PCM". I experienced problems with mine at 40K miles that were covered under the 120,000 mile powertrain warranty. Bert's tranny failed at 108K and was replaced under that same warranty. I have a 2002 Isuzu Axiom with 107K miles. Approx 2 mos. ago the Check TOD light started flashing intermittently. This happens infrequenty, but enough to be a concern. The truck has been maintained per manuf recommendation. I think I read somewhere that it could be a sensor wire that could be damaged. The tranny does not appear to be slipping. Any thoughts?

There are other pads besides oem. www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/brake_pad_set/isuzu/axiom.html I have never purchased from them but they carry City Pro, Akebono, Hawk, EBC, OEQ, and OEM Japan. Tire Rack carries Akebono, Satisfied Pro, and Hawk. Tire Rack also carries Powers Slot Rotors. Have you had any problems getting parts for your 2002 Axiom? TIA.

It is true. Almost all Isuzu's will burn some oil between changes. My 2002 Axiom burns about 1qt every 7500 miles (usually add 1/2 qt at 3200 miles). FYI everyone, I just had my 2002 Axiom serviced at Sierra Isuzu in Monrovia, CA, told them about the clunk when I pull tp a stop and also when I pull away. After reading numerous posts here I was well informed. They lubed the slipyolk and fixed the problem for no charge. In warranty.

Ax Tires
I don't know what they are shipping for tires on the 2003/4 Axioms. The 2002 models had Goodyear Integrity tires. The integrity tires in northern New Jersey are dangerous. They simply have no wet or snow traction. After 11000 miles, I replaced them with Yokohama Geolander HT/S tires. new to townhall, wanted to comment on MPG. 2002 Isuzu Axiom Base 4x4. Have been averaging 15.8 since purchase, after installing Calmini air filter cone could not get better than 10. After messing with filter cone finally installed original airbox and still can not get better than 13. Have checked all hoses, etc. Have reset computer multiple times and even disco negative battery cable. Very frustrated, any ideas out there?

EGR Valve Warranty Issue
I just spent $600 to get a defective EGR Valve replaced on my 2002 Isuzu Axiom. The dealer and factory rep said it was not covered under warranty because the car is 23 months old with 36,000 miles. So much for the Basic 3-year, 50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Anyone have a similar problem and/or suggestions for satisfactory resolution? One unhappy car owner.

Anyone having brake pulsation from the 2002 isuszu Axiom
I purchased a 2002 Axiom used and is having a major vibration when the brakes are applied at speeds between 40 mph and above. Under warranty they have replaced and cut the rear drums twice, worked on the axle and replaced the front hubs and rotors, rotated and balance the tires and the problem is still exist. I bought a used 2002 Axiom S with the Sunroof and 8,800 miles on it. Quite happy so far, only one problem. The dealer only had one key and one remote thingy.
