We're back in Chi-town for the 101st anniversary of the city's automotive feast. Typically, this show houses all the newest pickup and SUV offerings from both domestic and import manufacturers last year, the redesigned Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup was unveiled here, and this year, we'll see the completely revised 2500 and 3500 trucks. Other introductions include the restyled 2003 Subaru Forester and an all-new midsize SUV from Kia.
Of course, there are always a few sports cars, wagons and, lately, crossovers to appease the truck-allergic. Word has it that Ford will roll out the 2003 Mustang Cobra replete with a supercharged version of the '01 Cobra's 4.6-liter V8 and a six-speed manual gearbox.
As always, we promise to report back to you on all the most important new models and concepts undeterred by any mid-winter snow and wind that may pelt us as long as a deep-dish pizza is waiting for us at the end of each day.
