I traded in a 2010. If you're a current QX owner... you've got to experience in the new QX in person - I think Infiniti has hit a home run.
The new QX drives MUCH more like a car than a big SUV. It has VERY surprising pick-up and power, and the braking is superb. The visibility from the driving position is excellent - I truly feel like I have full command of the road, as opposed to simply being an occupant.
As for wind-noise... I've driven several times well over 70MPH, and unless it's very gusty outside, or there's a strong headwind, there is little, if any wind-noise to speak of in the new QX. It's very, very quiet.
Advanced Climate Control, Fully integrated iPod controls, Climate Controlled Seats, Quiet Interior, and excellent fit & finish. And... I actually love the new design.
The driver door armrest needs to bit about 1 inch higher, and the adjustable center console (armrest) needs more padding for the elbow. Also, I'd split the tail-gate into 2 sections - like the Lexus LX.
I do not (yet) own the QX; however I have test driven it and I must say that your comment regarding the door armrest being about an inch too low is spot on.
I hope Infiniti reads these comments and does something about it.
