Summary
What Edmunds.com says
A capable and luxurious truck. But so is its less expensive Nissan Pathfinder cousin.
Pros
Powerful V6 engine, Infiniti warranty and service experience, excellent on-road manners, low base price.
Cons
Cramped rear legroom, no third-row seat, not enough differentiation from the plebian Pathfinder.

Review
Just bought the car on 31st of Jan 08. It snowed about 6 inches here in the Chicago Land area and boy was I glad to finally have a vehicle with 4X4. Classy leather interior with elegant woodgrain trim. Extremely smooth and powerful drive for a mid-class SUV.
Favorite Features
4X4 option in snowy weather is a big plus, love the bose stereo sound.
Suggested Improvements
Gas mileage isnt that great, but thats whats expected when you have 250 ponies under the hood.

I sold my 2006 Land Cruiser and bought QX4 and cannot be happier. QX4 is much more fun to drive. QX4 is functional - every detail makes sense. Engine is a powerful beast. This car is a classic and for an SUV you will not find any better deal.
Favorite Features
Simply all.
Suggested Improvements
Nothing.

I've driven this SUV for almost 2 years and am very satisified with the entire experience, except the gas mileage. I'm getting 14.5 mpg in town and am usually the only occupant of the car. Bummer. I upgraded from the I30 to this car and I love being up higher than most oncoming headlights.
Favorite Features
Heated seats, good visibility, beautiful interior.
Suggested Improvements
Gas mileage/fuel economy.

Amazing first car to have. Parents bought it for me, I'm just 16 and it is an awesome first car. For being a used car, it is a pretty nice car for a teenager. Car is easy to drive, very mobile, and just the perfect amount of space in the driver's seat and it's easy to see all around you. Car is fast once you get going. It is probably the most comfortable car to drive. The sound system is incredible. It could be better with more bass but its good. I love the luxury package of the car with wood grain everywhere.
Favorite Features
I love the stock rims, when you are pulling into a parking lot or just when you go slow the rims flash and looks amazing. Car's exterior is probably still my favorite of most cars. Car looks so good that it looks as if it costs a million. I love the headlights too, I always get compliments on them.
Suggested Improvements
I think the belt of the car and the brakes after a while wears out. The back seat needs to have more room and more leg room. For future improvements they should just work on the comfort in the back seat but overall the best car. Fuel economy is horrible.
