Just traded a BMW 540i for the M45.
Beemer went into the shop one time too
many. Slightly less than 540i in pure
kick ass performance but a whole ton of
very nice amenities that cost $1,000's
more from BMW. Closest car I could find
in overall performance to replace my
540i and reduce the maintence costs
V8 power. Voice command system. Nice
Bose audio. Tire pressure read out
while driving, just like a Corvette.
Video display is easy to learn and in
fact fun to play with.
More power. Only complaint so far is
the M45 gets the power on at higher RPM
than the 540i and is a little slower at
doing so. I can live with that as long
as its not in the shop getting fixed as
much as the BMW.
