2008 Infiniti M35

Re: m35 sport [shmang]

Interesting comment. I live north of NY City and ski in VT. The 2006 M35X 4 wheel drive was excellent in the snow notwithstanding the OEM POS Goodyear RS-As. My gripes were vague steering, trammeling, defective steering rack, overhyped BOSE, seat heaters that never heated except when not necessary, horrible mileage, noisy exhaust, heavy steering and harsh ... Re: anyone in here drive the 2009 m35 sport [ghstudio]

I upscaled and downsized from a 2006 M35X to a 2009 Audi A4 2.0 quattro, sports package. I recommend driving one before going for an Infiniti M or G. If you are a handling fan order one with sports package. 30 mpg highways vs 20, much better handling and ride. No trammeling and uncontrollable lurches. Not as much gizmology but fold down rear seats, huge trunk, finest ... Read More...

Infiniti M45 Sport Steering Issue

Re: M45 Steering Problems [ghstudio]

My second Infiniti will be my last! Traded my 2006 G for the 2008 M35 sport, what a huge disappointment. My G never saw the service dept. other then for an oil change/tire rotation..drove and handled like a CHAMP. My "M" 3rd day was back for a wheel alignment after a rutted road jerked the steering wheel out of my hands. Had service manager drive with me and he never ... Read More...

tramlining

Just a follow up to my last post about tramlining. My dealer, Legacy Infiniti of Lynbrook, NY made a courtesy change of my tires from Goodyear to Michelin and performed a wheel alignment on my leased 2008 M35X with approx 6,800 miles. Yesterday was my first chance to try out the new tires on a 3 hour drive. Tramlining definitely reduced but still there to a lesser ... Read More...

Issues and sales

With all the issues we heard here (as well as reported elsewhere). I am just wondering how those compare with Lexus or Acura. I am sure they have some issues. But overall, is Infiniti / M line doing better or worse - as the M was rated very high or fit & finish and build quality & reliability since 2006. I know Infiniti has not changed much for the M (Other than the 7 spd ... Read More...

Infiniti M35/M45 Lease Is Up - What Now?

What to replace the M45 with?

My 3 year lease is up on my 2006 M45 (Sport, Tech, Adv Tech, Aero). I love the car, but the new Infiniti leases really suck -- 46% residual on a M35 (Sport, Tech, 36 mo/12k mi) lease. I can actually get a 535i with Premium, Sport, Nav for the same money than the M35 (because the residual is 60%)!! Would anyone pass on a 535i under these circumstances? The Infiniti clearly ... Re: 2006 M35 sport steering issue [southbay1]

Your technician may not have heard of it, but your service manager should have been in the car with you. I suggest you drive a 2008 sport to see if it does the same thing. With stock tires and 19" wheels, it is, unfortunately, a common complaint. Ask to meet with the Infiniti service representive the next time he visits the dealer. Tell them that it is a safety concern...your ... Read More...
