Was looking at the usual suspects, MDX, Q7, however, for the price, neither could beat the JX, plus the JX was more roomy. The V6 tuned to about 300hp would have been perfect, but as the reviews mention and as Infiniti admits, this is not a performance vehicle. Have only had for about a week now, so I'll have to update in about 6 months.
Cooled Seats! Dash is awesome, seats are surprisingly comfortable, like a luxury brand should be. I like the Styling.
Horsepower is needed, just a tad anemic...even for a non-performance vehicle. Just too big to be lurching around at 265hp with it's size... Jury is still out on the CVT. I do not mind the lack of Gear Changing, just concerned about longevity and maintenance.
Have had for 9 months. Took accross the country twice, almost 20,000 miles. Still performs like new, but can be gutless at times. The bottom of the door guard (plastic sheath) tends to be flimsy and not secure. That said, would buy again....
