My 2001 I30 has had 4 remanufactured alternators supplied by Nissan/Infiniti installed since May and a new starter. After leaving the car sit for 3-4 days it won't start w/o a jump. What else could possibly be wrong here? Read More...

2001 Infinit I30. Events - Drove to gas station and got gas. Tried to restart car and got nothing but clicking sound. Tried jump starting and after 20 minutes of trying it started right off. 2001 I30 replacement rear brakes

replaced brakes with new infiniti pads at 70,000. Front pads were the same but rear were changed due to my Vin#. some spacer clips were attached toward rear of old brakes but the new pads seemed a little longer to make up for the difference. Has anybody changed an alternator on an 2001 infiniti i30? The mechanic wants to charge me $400 to put in a remanufactured one and I would rather buy one for $120 and do it myself ifnI am not going to take 8 hours to do it. If you have any tips I would appreciate it. Read More...

Hi there, I am looking if someone has had the same problem as me with their infinity. I have a Infinity I 30 2001. Sometimes when I am driving at about 40-50mph my car starts slowing down and the RPM goes up to 6000 and it makes a lowd noise.
