Review
Bought my 98 I30 in August 2000 as a two-year off-lease vehicle. Has been outstanding performer for last nine years. Key to performance is great power to weight ratio, but car is still roomy for four adults. Engine and AT is perfect combo of power / torque and economy. Two design flaws to note: The glass that goes across length of trunk will eventually warp and let water into trunk and the volume control on audio will become useless. I had both parts replaced (entire radio under warranty) and both problems have come back again. Still been a great value and will drive at least another two years when I give it to my younger son to take to college.

Review
I bought a 98 i30 with 93000 miles in 2004. As of Aug. 2008 It has 203,000 miles I have not had to do any repairs other than brakes and tires. This is an excellent car. Runs great, and rides even better.

Does not leak a drop of oil. Interior comfort is amazing.

Review
Bought this car new 11 years ago - specially made in Japan with 5-speed manual trans. Was about $14k less than the BMW 5-series, but comparably equipped and with better performance stats. Light, nimble, precise. I have truly loved this car: great fun to drive and unbelievably reliable. At 85,000 miles, not a single major repair. Just the usual stuff, muffler, brakes, clutch, alignment.

Review
This was my first Nissan after owning three Toyota's. I have had the same wonderful experience with quality as I did with the toyota's. Now 7 years old and 125K miles - this car has had not one problem except with the initial battery which was replaced by Infiniti with apologies. I will definately consider another Infiniti - now if I can save enough for the M45.

The stereo is phenomenal. The car is fun to drive.
Suggested Improvements
The front passenger seat needs to be higher or give the seat the same adjustments as driver seat.

Review
I30t with 85000 miles...no bad experiences. will agree with hard transmission shifting at times... but has the get up and go, maintenance costs overall not much more than other used vehicles. Also happy with gas mileage, do not plan to get rid of soon... ps... car is very quiet in my opinion... happy in birmingham...
