The transmission seems to be erratic at times especially if you are not driving aggresively (I like to call this soft pedaling). I will mention, though, that the new CTS is worlds better than anything Mazda makes. It's positioned in Europe as a BMW 5 series competitor at a lot less money. Current list of vehicles for this thread include: BMW 3 Series, Infiniti G35, Acura TL, Lexus IS 350, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Cadillac CTS, Lexus IS 250, Audi A4, Acura TSX. The G35 has been replaced with G37 since 2009 model year. Now that G25 is unveiled and, given the fact that both IS350/250, 328/335, and TL/TSX are on the list, both G37 and G25 should also be added. Does anyone have any opinions on Service (Shop) Manuals for the 2009 G37 sedan? I did a net surf, and got two hits, both CD versions. One was an/the "Official" Infiniti site, that wanted something like $250 for the (CD) manual. Another was some site called "tradebit.com" that offered a "downloaded" version of a manual for $7.99. Dear bmmerm: I don't know if this will help you but I spoke with a rep for Infiniti about the clear coat. As you may know the clear coat is a self healing clear coat. They discontinued it for 2010 because of cost and cost to repair and limited people that could repair. Also, becuase it did not work OR did not work unless the car was exposed to direct sunlight ... ptgreg, You can't get a G37 Coupe with just Premium & Tech packages... you must get Navigation to get the Tech Pkg. I work for Infiniti of Tampa and I just did a search throughout the country for a 2009 with prm,nav,tech and there are only 2 left in the country. As for 2010 there are only 13 on the ground right now, but certianly more coming.

I've looked in another state and the best I can do from CA for a G37x is $33000. The problem is most dealers in CA don't carry a lot of the AWD version. Metro Infiniti here at SoCal still has 10 2009 equipped exactly the way I want it and another 82 2010 G37's left in their inventory so I am not exactly worried about the selection at the end of the year. I was not eligible for the 0% finance because I got $3500 off. But for 36 months, I got 3.95% through Infiniti (better than what I was able to get through other lenders)- in my case the finance rate meant little as I am looking to pay off the car in less than 12 mo.

I bought the exact same G37x with premium about a month ago. MSRP was $39,230. Bought this car for $32,000. Look at other posters on this board with similar results. If your dealer has ten 2009's left over then you are paying too much. The G37 would be the best deal if you can swing that price. E-mail the sales manager direct and bypass the salesman.

Circle Infiniti in Long Branch. Experience was excellent, knowledgable salesperson, no pressure. Easiest vehicle transaction I have experienced. Iphone Simple Integration for G37 and 2008 G35
I had a 2008 G35x which I returned 2 weeks ago (end of lease) and now I have a 2009 G37X. In both the cars a device called Scosche Passport ( link -http://scosche.com/products/sfID1/210/sfID2/360/productID/1667) worked perfectly. The bluetooth continues to work for incoming calls etc and the ipod controls on the Infiniti controls the iphone playlists etc. The only complaint I have is I wish the inifiniti supplied cable was longer.

I purchased my 2009 G37 sedan, obsidian black, 3/30/09. I use the paint sealant from Girot's Garage, helps keep down the swirls. Easy to put on, about 30 minutes to do the whole car.
