I just got out of my 39 month '06 G35X lease and into an 09 G37X. One thing I can tell you is that the money factor is not nearly as good as it was this time in '06. This is a quck update. I bought the 2006 Infiniti G35 6MT I was leasing last month - about 7 months before the lease maturity date. I am happy with the decision -- the car is a peach!:) The only fly in the ointment was the nightmarish experience of the purchase process. I have a '05 G35 Coupe and have had the speedometer/tach/fuel/heat instruments - right above the steering wheel - go out numerous times. The heater/AC, radio etc still work. I have had the wiring checked, the ignition changed, and other "research" and my dealer still can't find out what's going on. I began searching blogs like this to find out if there is a solution ... Hi All! I am thinking of buying a 2006 Infiniti G35 6MT that I am currently leasing. The 39-month lease matures in August 2009. The residual value at the end of the lease is about $20,270. The pay-off amount currently is about $22,780 (+ Tax & fees). NADA suggests the current wholesale value is about $20k, and the current retail value is about $22k. Do you think I can ... Read More...

I just checked, yes my dealer has 53 of the 2008 G35x's (not all G35s) available on their lots. Oh well, I think the Infinity even at $31k (for the G35x with Premium) may be just out of my price range, since Acura's offering me an easy $28.5k for the 2008 TL (without Nav). Now one last choice.... do I get a loaded 2006 BMW 330i or the 2008 TL? choices, choices, choices... ... Read More...

I have a 2006 Infiniti G35 4-door. I leased it in January 2006 for 42 months at 15K miles a year (52,500 total). Lease is up July 2009 and I probably won't have more than 35K miles on it at that time. Do you need AWD version? If not, there will be more selections available. 2003/2004 G35 had some issues with premature brake pad wear. 2005 and after brake issue was taken care of. However, 2005 G35 AWD may not have the same brakes as None-AWD models. Mine is 2005 G35 sedan(not AWD) and so far brakes lasted more than my expectations. My front brake pads are still ...
