I tried what nick1958 did and had the seat buttons moved. Didn't solve the problem. The seat rails on either side do not support the center of the seat. The design of the seat is fatally flawed. Those two cars don't compare very well. the Audi is nearly $10K more then the G35. it's considerably more of a car the the infiniti. But what comes with the Audi is mediocre reliability and a very poor resale value. If price isn't an issue I would take the A6 over the G35 as long as the Audi comes with a full warranty. I have the 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT (19" wheels) with all options (except satellite radio). I agree with most things brian33625 says except for body roll. My car has almost no body roll under any conditions. Most likely you are going to slide the rear end before you feel any roll on any turn. I get about 20 mpg (half highway/half city miles). I think he was probably referring to what the dealership told me about not being able to fix the problem unless they were able to recreate...at any rate, thanks for the input. After 2 dealerships and Infiniti coporate gave me the same answer, I've decided to drive it and see if it happens again. If it does I'll park it at the dealership for a while.

I'm going to try $30,000 even...knowing that I won't get it...and hope to get a price around $30,500. That will be a little more than $3500 below invoice...but it's almost February and I'm sure that they really want to move the 06s off the lot. $30,500 for a $37,350 G35 looks like a pretty good deal to me.

2006 Infinity GS35x MSRP $37,530
I found an 06 G35 with MSRP of $37,530. They are taking $6k off MSRP to make it $31,530. Invoice is $34,360 and Infiniti is offering $3500 dealer to cash right now until the end of January. I was thinking of countering with Invoice - the $3500 dealer to cash...making it $30,860. Do you think that would be a pretty good deal?

January incentives for 2006 models
Does anyone know what the incentives are for January on remaining 2006 Infiniti vehicles? I know there was a link to (I believe) an Infiniti website that lists the current incentives in a previous thread but for the life of me I cannot find it. The incentive in December was $2500 factory to dealer on the G35 sedan and I am wondering what it might be this month. Thanks.

MF and residual value are based on MSRP and terms. Presently we have promotion for $398.84 plus tax and 39 month lease term on 06 G35s. Once again, Infiniti MSRPs are not fixed.
