I own a 2004 Infiniti G35 with 58K miles. It's a great car. However, I have noticed when I accelerate to 60 MPH, the front end shakes. I have a feeling the tires need rotating and balancing. Any ideas?

I assume it's a wheel alignment. Almost anytime you touch/remove/replace a suspension component in the front end, you have probably changed the alignment and it needs to be brought back into spec. Sure, you could have the wheel alignment done anywhere. I do not know if G35's have any peculiarities that would require the alignment be done by an infiniti dealer or not.

You're probably stuck with the price of the part since that probably has to come from Infiniti. $130 labor is only 2 hours, which sounds dirt cheap to me, especially if that includes an alignment.

You never want to put any money down on a lease including the taxes because if the car is totalled or stolen, you don't get of that money back. I have the awd g35x and even with all season Goodyear RSA tires, that car is a snowmobile on snowy icy roads, not to mention rain soaked roads.
