Love the car, but it needs some work.
Just received a free dash replacement from hundreds of bubbles. The speedometer was recalled, no charge. The biggest complaint, the vehicle does not hold a track. It pulls left. It has a lane departure warning that uses a camera to see the dividing lines on the road. If you cross a line without signaling, it beeps. Nice feature, however it should not have been installed in lieu of fixing the tracking problem.
The Bose sound system is amazing, with a large subwoofer under the rear deck. The optional oversized wheels adds a nice look and feel. The speedometer says 160-MPH. Have not had it that fast. The oversized optional wheels add significantly to the look and handling. The fold flat rear seats make for plenty of hauling space. The rear seats have enough room for the tall folks, whereas Mustang and Camaro are lacking in this area. The all-wheel drive will be handy in the snow, and the towing capacity is not bad for a jet ski or small ski boat.
Merchants aligned it twice, and the Virginia Beach dealer twice, all within 100-miles, same problem, pulls to the left even when the road is sloped to the right as much as 1-foot in twelve feet. The Porsche, Audi, and VW looks similar to the FX. The FX-45 looks better, needs a recall.
Finally figured out what was making the FX45 pull left. The car has not been driven every day, sometimes for several weeks. Therefore the disk brakes corroded enough to cause it to pull left. Today I sprayed WD-40 liberally and it took care of the problem. Likely gets better gas milage. Carefull if you do this, check your braking ability before getting into traffic. This is one great ride. The all-wheel-drive makes snow less of a threat. Camero and Mustang will be left in the storm.
