Buy a Hawk PC pad for about $70.00 on the internet and have a repair shop install it for you for about $60.00.     There is a Infiniti brand extended warranty. I bought one for my 2004 fx35. Shop around for it thought. You don't need to buy it at the dealer you bought your car from.     All I can say is I have a 2004 FX35 AWD with Sport Package and other than a rattle in my sun roof which was quickly fixed by tightening some screws, I have had ZERO problems. Of course, I only have 15,000 miles on it since I only use on the weekends but still, pretty good, no? Jon.

    I have a 2004 fx35 with 31200 miles on it and am looking to buy an extended warranty for it. The Honolulu dealer has a zero deductible plan of 60 months/60,000 miles for $3564.00 Is that a fair price? Does anyone know of a better deal with a zero deductible? preferably from an Infiniti dealer. Warrantydirects price is about $1400 cheaper. How are they to deal with?

    My wife has a 2004 FX35, suckered into a 60 month lease, still owes $12,000, $30,000 to pay lease off, wants to trade early cause already has 72,000 miles on it. Wants another Infiniti lease (either G35S or another FX35) but cant find a similar payment. Currently paying $575/month. Any advise from anyone out there?

    Depends on what part of the country you are in. Here in the Pacific North West you're lucky if you can get a 2004 for less than MSRP. In areas of California, Texas, Florida, etc. you can get an '04 FX35 for well under invoice. If you fell like taking a little drive, try Quirk Infiniti up near Boston (Braintree, MA actually). The lowest priced dealers were Infiniti of Thousand Oaks and Infiniti of Costa Mesa. Both no-pressure, easy to deal with fleet/internet departments.     The FX35's sold to Enterprise were all 2004's when they first came out. They were not dumping inventory. The FX45's have been slow to move - because most people see the 35 as a better value. The FX is beating projections and is the second best seller in the Infiniti lineup. I just wanted to clear up that misconception.

    Your price sounds pretty good. For what it's worth, I just got my FX35 2WD Touring, but no Tech for $35,500 + TTL. Since there is only one Infiniti dealer in Las Vegas, it wasn't so bad of a deal.

    Infiniti made no announcements regarding the revised suspension affecting the 2003 FX models. The salesman might just be tricking you into a 2003 model. AFAIK, the revised suspension only affects 2004 models. For 2003 models, the compliant suspension is on the FX35 with no Sport or Technology Packages, i.e. Base FX35 or FX35 with Premium Package.
