    because you never drove rear wheel drive car before... fx35 has rear wheel drive - that's why the pads on rear wheels go away faster.

    hahaha!!! I just replaced my rear brakes (2004 FX35) Sunday at 7800 miles, that's right 7800 miles. I think that a little strange too!!! Keep me posted.

    Last month there was $500 dealer cash on the FX35 but I don't know if it is still current. Last year Infiniti got caught with a few too many 03s so come January there was some great deals on the remaining 2003 cars. I was getting quotes of $5000 off MSRP the FX35 and $8000 off the FX45.     The incentive for July (I haven't found out if it's current for August yet) was $500 cash back to the dealer. FX35s have been selling for $100-$200 over invoice so with this dealer cash it should be obtainable for $300 or so under. The 2005 models are due in October.     When the dealer brings up your car on the computer for service, any applicable recall/service requirement is supposed to automatically appear. The number is ITB03068.     Infiniti made no announcements regarding the revised suspension affecting the 2003 FX models. The salesman might just be tricking you into a 2003 model. AFAIK, the revised suspension only affects 2004 models. For 2003 models, the compliant suspension is on the FX35 with no Sport or Technology Packages, i.e. Base FX35 or FX35 with Premium Package.

    On Sunday I received my wife's 2003 FX35 Brilliant Silver Graphite/Brick with Technology package from Grubbs Infiniti here in South Florida. It was a great buying experience from Danny all around. The truck driver was very nice and dropped off my car a mile from my house at the local Wal*Mart.
