I agree with the inconsistency of the transmission, and have had some difficulties with it. With the 10 year, 100,000 mile guarantee, I'm not worried. I had an XG 300, which required a new transmission. It was replace, and didn't cost me anything. The price of the car for the luxury you get is well worth it.
Great ride, leather heated seats, good pick-up and like the small things like the cd changer is the trunk. What I also like is that the XG350L comes complete. It's a luxury car, and it comes like that.
