I have two Hyundai vehicles with the 100,000 mile warranty. ... I have only had one problem, the transmission went out on my Tucson at 17,000 miles and again at 70,000. The first time they went out of their way to replace it, but the second time I was stonewalled. .. .. They told me various things, like I drove it hard, and also they looked at the tow hitch and ... 2010 Hyundai Tucson from hell. New transmission installed at 20K miles then brake switch at 31K and now the speedometer broke and engine is on. You can feel the transmission is acting up again and its jumping as you speed up. Its going back to the shop tomorrow and I'm done. I've read way too many problems on the internet about this car and cannot tell you my disappointment .

My transmission died at 20K miles on my 2010 Tucson. The only answer they could give, "a flaw." It now has 31K and is going back into the shop tomorrow because its not shifting correctly. The traction light comes on when its in park and it will not come out of park. Its a lemon to me at this point and I'll never buy another Hyundai again.

So just how many vehicles is "known for transmission problems" or "listen to all the problems with 2010-2011 models"? A forum of a small group of owners (and many trolls) is hardly a gauge of how many problems there are with a model or manufacturer. One person posts an issue and it's blown into a catastrophe. Fact is it's a very small percentage of the total number of owners.

It's not you or your phone. It's a crappy bluetooth. The dealership will continue to tell you the system is working just fine. I can hear the incoming caller just fine but the outgoing is a mess. The Hyundai Motors website has the following note: Because the hands-free functions of the Hyundai Bluetooth system are activated and controlled through voice recognition fed through microphones, there are circumstances which can affect or ... Yes, I am having the same problem. Dealer tested it and says nothing is wrong. I have a phone on the approved list (LG enV3) and took it back to Verizon - they exchanged it for another phone. Bluetooth still doesn't work that well. My husband can't hear me when I call him on it. It's frustrating.

I live in the Richmond VA market and the dealers here have marked them up $1500 so they are way over priced. I guess as Hyundai's quality goes up so have their prices, but then again their prices seem to still be competitive. If anyone finds a great deal in the VA or surrounding market please post your experience.
