Review

I did extensive research before I bought the tucson and I felt that the tucson gave me all the options I wanted and still was at the price I wanted, $1000's less than honda and toyota, I am real happy with my decsion to buy a tucson. Just completed a round trip of 850 miles and no problems a of any kind, averaged 22 miles per gallon, even though sticker says 26 for the highway but the mpg will slowly improve as the car ages. I would definately recommend this vehicle for anyone that is searching for a small but spacious suv for the family.

Favorite Features

side airbags, trip computer, and size.

Suggested Improvements

move arm rest forward by couple of inces, add full size spare. Add outside temp gauge for gls.

Review

I purchased the AWD Tuscon in January 06, just in time for a huge New England blizzard. The Tuscon performed magnificantly, and has continued to be a great vehicle. It's a lot of vehicle for the sticker price, loaded with all the options except leather seats. I love how it looks, it handles like a car and has enough quickness to get out of any situations. It's a solid buy, great value and you can't beat the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.

Favorite Features

Looks, exterior design, value (loaded with options for an low price), warranty, quality, fun to drive, great in the snow.

Suggested Improvements

I would bump up the stereo system, as it doesn't put out enough to blow out the windows. Also, gas mileage is not what I was hoping for. Most of my weekly mileage is highway, all I can get out of it is 18mpg. Interior console could use some upgrades as well.

Fun to drive. The unique auto-shifter is a plus when driving around town and the way it automatically downshifts when you slow down is great.

Favorite Features

Suggested Improvements

Middle arm rest is on the small side. Redesign so that it is easier to use and still keep the fold away style.

For my first car I had the accent and i wanted something bigger. So i shopped around and the Tucson was what I was looking for. Good Pricing and a great SUV by far. No one could do better. I'm with the rest of you, if milage is all your worried about get a car. The bigger the more mileage.. duh. I really like the Tucson.

Favorite Features

The whole inside is roomy and quiet.. no complaints..

Suggested Improvements

Nothing.. or i wouln't have gotten it.

I bought this as a in town run-a-round. I have found this to be a excelent choice for this. I have used the load area twice and have found the flat folding seats easy to lower and raise. The MPG is holding at arround 19 MPG of intown driving. I have curently 1500 miles on it and am pleased with my choice.

Favorite Features

Ease of changing form a pasenger car to van. I like the ride hight.

Suggested Improvements

Need a home link system installed. Would like a XM radio option.

This S U V is great on gas!!! We traded a Toyota FourRunner for a Tucson and we are delighted to save so much money on gas.I also se it necessary to mention the nice ride the Tucson provides.I never thought I would own a Hyundai but i am pleased to say that this Tucson is the best all round purchase my mother and i have ever made.Where in the world are you going to find a 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty?!?!?! I rate everything about this SUV a 9.5 .

Favorite Features

The shiftronic feature. It allows you to drive a manual transmission or an automatic transmission. The vehicle has a great ride and alot of pickup for a 4 cylinder engine.

Suggested Improvements

Seat comfort. Not the most comfortable vehicle in the world!

Review

I bought my car four months ago. It is a car exactly I wanted, a mainly city SUV that can be also be used to carry my ski equipment in snowy Canadian winter and camping bags in muddy summer. My Tucson is a quiet, responsive, reliable, spacious, and comfortable car that has almost all I need. It comes with 4WD, V6, stability control, shiftronic, front/side/roof air bags, leather seats, moon roof, mp3 player, roof racks, fog lights, alloy wheels, and much more. For a compact SUV, you cannot expect more. It does not just have COMPARABLE quality. Its build quality can beat many other cars carrying more recognized bands. I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Favorite Features

Very considerate interior design, good build quality, excellent safety equipment, generous standard features.

Suggested Improvements

A peppier V6 engine (though current V6 engine is powerful enough for me), better tires.

the SUV does not even get close to the est. milage. It would be better if they changed the gear ratios or make it a 4 speed trans. Other then that it is fun to drive. I had a 4cyl. and traded up to the 6 after a road trip. The 4 gets better milage but does not go up hill and was very loud when going 65mph. I purchased because of safety features and the warrenty. My other Suv was 2 years old,

Review

Great visibilty and handling in the rain; excellent sound system; nice seat lumbar support; ease of dashboard controls; solid drive and handling; spacious back seat area and good cargo room; ease on your back in loading and unloading and getting in and out of seats. Good gas mileage, good pick up.

Favorite Features

Sound sytem; cargo area unloading lots better than a sunken trunk I had in my T-Bird! Sit higher, lumbar support, and great visibilty.

Suggested Improvements

Gas mileage, a little easier turning wheel, it is a bit stiff to turn as compared to my old T-bird; and limit the blind spot in the front frame/mirror area; also, a little more rear bumper.
