My advice to anyone who is having clutch and flywheel problems is to get rid of that LEMON!! :lemon: I posted a message in this forum just 11 months ago and I have to replace the damn thing again..My clutch did not even last one year..and again the price is going to be $2000+ to fix this piece of crap..I bought my Tiburon in December of 2006 and it is now September of 2008 ... Also, with 2008 beyond the last model year. The Tiburon is priced a lot lower. You can get it well below MSRP now. And with the Scion tC, they have that annoying supposedly no-haggle price. Read More...

The msrp of the tiburon is about the same as the Scion tc that is similar. (See my message above) There is no comparison in quality. Scion wins. Scion is supposedly no dicker but with the depreciation of the tc (see 07 used kbb.com) from sticker there has to be some give. Usually in trade in over allowance or add ons for the no dicker types. The incentives were $500. owner loyalty, $500. Hyundai motor finance corp. & $500. rebate on the GS model. The dealer also took off at least $1000. in dealer incentives. For October almost all the incentives are gone except for the $500. rebate plus whatever dealer incentives you can get. I'm still waiting for the 2008's. In August a dealer in Sheboygan,Wisconsin ofered to sell me the exact same car with your options for $16,809. Arrow Hyundai in West Allis, Wisc. offered to sell me the same vehicle at $17,000..We alreadt own two Hyundais. I decided to wait until the 2008 Tiburon comes out before I buy it. Read More...

We own a 2000 tiburon & a XG-350. Was going to buy a 2007 Tiburon @ $16,800 for a GS w/auto & sunroof. Decided to wait till 2008's come out Called Hyundai consumer affairs & couldn't/wouldn't give me a date when they will be on car lots. ESC with traction control has been standard on the SE model, iirc (at least in 07 and should continue in for 08 models). Not sure if it would be offered on other trims. There should not be many changes for the 08 model, recall the 07 was recently facelifted. XM should be there, as Hyundai is rolling in such feature across the line. Read More...

The picture is just an artist rendering. Hyundai's U.S. VP of sales emphatically denies that this is an accurate depiction of the Tiburon's exterior. He said it will look "better" (which remains to be seen). There will also be no V8 available. He mentioned a V6, but didn't comment on the availability of an I-4 or turbo.
