Review

I wanted a tiby more than anything! I bought it 11 months ago with 30,000 & I have put 18,000 miles on it so far. I have gone through 3 clutches!!!!!!!! Yes, 3 clutches! This is the worse clutch, fly wheel & pressure plate quality I have ever seen. There is no way you can go through 3 clutches in 18,000 miles. I have driven clutches my untire life. I have paid $700 for each clutch. This is the bigest peice of junk I have ever had. I like the looks & style, but that is no good if it doesn't run!!!! now I can't stand foriegn cars!!! I wish I would have bought a Mustang!! And I will be trading this peice of junk in for an AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!!! PS-----DONT BUY THE TIBBY----HORRIBLE CLUTCH!!!

Review

I love my Tiburon. It rides smooth and handles like a dream. The moonroof and Infiniti sound system is great and I love the interior . It is sharp from the outside too. The only thing is that I wish the seats were more comfortable, but I guess you have to expect that in a sporty coupe! Great value for what you are getting. A+ satisfaction

Mid life crisis

Review

I drove by the dealer and had to have this bright yellow sports car. It has been great to drive, although I do store it in the winter months. I had origionally bought it to teach my teens to drive. No way! Way to quick and many blind spots. Its ok though because I totally love to grive this car. Only had 2 mechanical issues, both fully under warrenty.,

Favorite Features

Very economical sports car. The warrenty is great and the dealership that works on the car is superb. If Hyundai makes the 4 wheel drive SUV as well as the did this car, I will have one for my winter car.

Suggested Improvements

Blind spots are bad although hard to fix with this style car. Take the plastic cover off the motor. Its a waste of time $ money

Review

This car truly looks amazing. It's got the Ferrari Modena look to it and after 3 years of owning it, it still looks tight. I got the Infinity sound system with subwoofer. It's real nice. V6 engine is not the fastest but for what it costs, it performs with excellence. Very responsive. This car just looks so sweet in every angle.

i was looking for a 4 cyl one but the dealer said that the gas mileage is 28/gallon, and the 6 is 24/gallon. since it wasnt much of a difference he sold it. what i like is that if you want to customize it with body kits or whatever, theres so many options out there to do so. i love the sound system, i like the smooth quite ride with great handling and when im driving it on the streets i get so many people to turn there heads which is pretty cool. of course mine is custom but what im saying is if you dont have alot of money this is your car. i had a lamborgini trying to race me, i didnt but it made me laugh.

the steering wheel shakes a tad bit over 60/miles per hour, and then smooths out over 80. i dont know if its only on my car.

I've owned this car for 3 years now, and it had been driven perfectly without any problems. I just love the way it looks. I still love how it looks after 3 years. I don't get tired of its styling. And the performance is good. Gas mileage is also good for its output. I'm getting average 25 miles per gallon on mixed city/highway.

I bought mine used with only 7,600 miles on it. I have no complaints with performance as i USE the "slapstick" option if i want more power! I have had no repair issues except that i broke my tib by not seeing a BIG rock in the road :(. I have driven it to Cali 2xs and vegas 2xs. It will do 140+ on straight roads. I have not had the guts to go over the 140 per hour. The driver seat could use some padding in the bottom, get "dead butt" after 4 hrs of driving. I don't have the anti- lock brakes on mine but she will stop on a dime if you use the shift tronic option like a stick!

Review

My Tibby (as it is affectionately called), is very reliable and is fun to drive. I am the 2nd owner and I have put almost 20K miles on her in less than 12 months. It is a not a five passenger car in my opinion, but a two seater with a comfortable rear seat for luggage or a pet in the back. ;c)

I wish that the gear box shifted easier and that there were not so many hard to clean tight spaces between the seats. A little more headroom in the back would be a bonus too.

Review

Originally, the Tiburon was selected and purchased by my 20 year old son. He liked the car very much, but he got excited in buying a high performance 4WD truck, so instead trading in the Tiburon, I decided to keep it. Now, I am enjoying driving the Tiburon every day. It feels and performs great. I am 60 years old, but I feel young again driving the Tiburon. Just before, I was driving a Dodge1500 Van Conversion, which is nice, but definitely too big for one person. Tiburon is nice looking and a very fast car. I am very happy that I took the decision to keep the Tiburon for my self.

Favorite Features

The Tiburon has impressive features, including: great looks, beautiful design, good gas mileage, confortable interiors, crisp driving, excellent road handling, and very, very fast. I leave everybody else behind in just few seconds, from stop-light to stop-light. It is fun!

Suggested Improvements

Tiburon's doors are large (long). May be a better design of the hinges' locking system will avoid unintended and sudden closing of doors, when they don't stay open. Tiburon's doors slam back because of a weak locking mechanism. This could be dangerous because the door may catch the driver's legs.

I have a 2004, i find that this car doesnt preform to the styling that it has. From the looks you would expect preformance, but in turn you get an "economy" quality built vehicle. the main issue that i have come across is the clutch and flywheel assy. these two components are possibly the two worse designed components on the vehicle. and there is no point in having a backseat you can fit MAYBE one person back there.

i think the interior and exterior are the only good quailties. if you just cruise and dont try to turn it into a dragster then you SHOULD be okay
